    The Global Challenge

by FullFrame posted January 14, 2012

This year’s Quality Counts report—The Global Challenge: Education in a Competitive Worldhas a multimedia component built by our super-talented colleagues on the web team. It’s packed with rich content addressing American education’s international standing and the lessons to be learned from high-performing countries. Paul Franz produced What is Quality Counts 2012?, an overview video where the reporters behind the report offer historical context and explain why it important to study schools from other countries. Photographer Nicole Frugé travelled to Toronto to examine the methods used to educate students from large immigrant populations. In her video, Inside Canada’s Education System, a principal, teacher, and student share their unique perspectives on the immigrant-student experience in Canada.
