Full Frame, a blog from the photo editors of Education Week, examines the intersection between photography and education. Using the medium of documentary photography, we focus on the people directly affected by education news and policy. It’s a showcase for exceptional visual reporting by our staff and freelance photographers, as well as other contributors covering education-related projects.
Our regular features address photojournalism from all angles. First Person and Point of View offer perspectives from photographers working on education stories. Exposure hosts the best photos from Education Week’s staff and freelance assignments. Powerful multimedia stories from Education Week and beyond are highlighted in Sound and Vision. Another Look gives new life to photos that didn’t make the print edition, but we believe need to be seen. Photographers share the stories behind their images in Behind the Lens. And finally, Wire service photos from the latest news stories are curated From the Wires.
We hope this blog sparks a conversation between the education and photography communities and encourage readers to contribute in the blog’s comments feature and share on Facebook and Twitter. You can reach us at FullFrame@epe.org.
